State Police Thursday searched a trash facility in Hartford for the third day in a row — in connection with the disappearance of a New Canaan woman.
The search has reached day 13 as investigators continue to comb through items at the Materials Innovation and Recycling Authority facility on Maxim Road.
New Canaan police Lieutenant Jason Ferraro updated the press in a statement Thursday saying, "As of today, we have received over 225 tips regarding the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos.  The request made earlier this week to residents of New Canaan to provide video surveillance from homes or businesses has resulted in nearly 70 responses," Ferraro, says.
Police were back at Jennifer Dulos' estranged husband's home in Farmington Wednesday night— reportedly executing another search warrant.
As News 12 has reported, husband Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis were charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and hindering prosecution earlier this week.
Arrest warrants show the two were believed to be captured on surveillance video throwing out multiple trash bags at more than 30 locations along a 4-mile stretch in Hartford.
Forensic tests confirmed Jennifer Dulos' blood was on the recovered items, arrest warrants revealed.
While state police continue to search at the trash facility, police in New Canaan are depending on the community for clues.
Police asked the public for surveillance video from a number of homes and businesses in town.
Residents in town are also lighting candles and praying the mother of five will be found.
Dulos' five children have been staying with their maternal grandmother in New York City.
She's petitioned for custody and a judge says a hearing will be scheduled.
