FARMINGVILLE -

Police say a teen is under arrest for stabbing another teen outside a Farmingville home.

According to police, three 16-year-old boys were involved in a fight on Berkshire Drive around 4 p.m. Monday. That is when one of those teens was stabbed.

Police say one of the other teens is now under arrest, but police have not released any names because of their ages.

News 12 spoke exclusively to the third teen who says he was at the scene. He told News 12 he and his friend were meeting up with another teen to buy a vape pen when the suspect demanded more money.

The victim, a Ronkonkoma resident, was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The 16-year-old suspect is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
