Police say multiple officers were involved in a chase from Patchogue to Freeport that ended with the arrest of a man in a string of burglaries.
According to investigators, the incident started at Lucky Lotto in Bohemia just after 9:30 p.m.
Then, police say, just before 11 p.m., police spotted a white van at the 7-Eleven on Waverly Avenue that matched the car wanted in connection with a burglary.
The driver took off for miles. Police say after almost an hour, John Miller, of Brookhaven, was finally stopped in Freeport and arrested.
