Stars hit the red carpet at the Hoboken International Film Festival Friday, but the event was in Orange County -- not New Jersey.
The red carpet event kicks off a week of film viewings. It's the third year the festival is being held at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park in Greenwood Lake, having moved from its original location in Hoboken but keeping its name.
The festival is expected to draw thousands of people for a week of screenings of documentaries and films from across the country and around the world.
Two awards were being given out during Friday's opening ceremony: "Karate Kid" actor Martin Cove was being inducted into the Hall of Fame, and former Minnesota governor and WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura was accepting the 2019 lifetime humanitarian achievement award.
"I'm very honored to receive this, but all I can tell you is I've just lived my life and I've done I felt I needed to do," said Ventura.
"It's terrific to get an award," said Cove. "But I am more excited about the kids who win something here, who get a chance to show their movies."
The festival runs through May 23.
