Annual LI Scottish festival at Old Westbury Gardens canceled

Organizers say a new tent fee imposed by the village would put them $15,000 in debt.

It's an annual tradition on Long Island, but this year the Scottish games are canceled.
The Scottish Festival and Highland Games has been held every year at Old Westbury Gardens, featuring music, food, dancing and games.
Organizers say a new tent fee imposed by the village would put them $15,000 in debt.
They've started looking for a new venue for 2020.
Old Westbury Village did not respond to News 12's request for comment.
