Disgraced ex-Rep. Anthony Weiner is released from halfway house

Disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner was released from a halfway house Tuesday morning.
According to the Bureau of Prisons website, Weiner left the halfway house in the Bronx that he has spent the last three months.
Weiner told reporters, "It's good to be out."
The once New York City mayoral candidate was sentenced to 21 months in prison after pleading guilty to sexting with a 15-year-old girl in November of 2017. He was transferred from prison to a halfway house earlier this year and had his sentence cut by three months because of good behavior.
He resigned from congress in 2011 after a previous sexting scandal.
He was required to register as a Level 1 sex offender Tuesday and pay a $10,000 fine.
He told reporters Tuesday morning that he hopes to "live a life of integrity and service."
