Historic church in Park Slope celebrates Easter following ceiling collapse

The Old Reformed Church in Park Slope held its first Easter service Sunday inside the sanctuary following a ceiling collapse in 2011.
"We had to close the sanctuary," says the church's pastor. "We discovered that our ceiling was all fractured and cracked."
He says construction on the ceiling took seven years to complete.
Parishioners say Easter Sunday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, so Easter is a fitting day to celebrate the sanctuary's reopening.
The church says there's still more work to be done.
