Activists rallied in Crown Heights Friday to denounce gun violence after an 18-year-old was fatally shot earlier this week.
Investigators say shots rang out Tuesday evening outside of 1483 St. Johns Place. They say three of those bullets struck Davion Powell, who was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Activists say the community has the power to end gun violence.
“We’re all victims of gun violence, but we also are the solutions to gun violence,” says one activist.
