Police: Son arrested in fatal stabbing of mother in Crown Heights

Police say a slain woman's son has been arrested and charged in her death one day after she was found stabbed inside her Crown Heights apartment.
Sources say they found the unnamed 67-year-old victim with stab wounds to her face and chest Wednesday on the fourth floor of 1191 Park Place.
Late Thursday night, police arrested Jason Reeves, 32.
Neighbors say the woman's son was addicted to drugs and constantly begging his mother for money. Some neighbors told News 12 that the woman said, "My son is going to kill me."
A 911 call was placed Wednesday by a neighbor after smelling an odor coming from the slain woman's apartment.
Police say it appeared that the woman had been dead for at least a few days.
Despite the charges, the medical examiner has not officially ruled the death a homicide.
