Broken rails near Mineola and Wantagh led to another day of delays and cancellations Tuesday for the Long Island Rail Road.
The breaks, which were mostly likely caused by the day's bitter cold, affected four branches, including Babylon, Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma.
One commuter called the delays 'ridiculous' and worried about how the upcoming inclement weather could cause more issues.
Crews made fixes, and trains were operating on or close to schedule on the Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay branches.
Last week, commuters had to deal with three rails that broke due to the weather.
