The father of a slain Bronx teen is making sure his son's legacy lives on this holiday season.

It has been nearly six months since Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz was stabbed to death outside a Bronx bodega, sparking outrage in the community.

Junior Guzman-Feliz was honored Wednesday at the school he attended, P.S. 159, with a school toy drive.

Junior's father, Lisandro Guzman, and members of the Guardian Angels came together to give away toys for the holiday season.

Students from from kindergarten through fifth grade got a chance to receive a toy from Santa.

Organizers say they plan to make an additional stop handing out even more gifts at St. Barnabas Hospital, where the 15-year-old died back in June.

Junior was killed in what police say was a gang stabbing carried out by members of the Trinitarios street gang outside a bodega in June. Police have made 14 arrests in the case. 

This is the first year Junior will not be home for the holidays.

The school hopes his family can find some comfort by giving back to other families at P.S. 159.
