Two more members of the Trinitarios gang are in custody in connection to a 17-year-old’s death after he was pushed into oncoming traffic.
Police made the two arrests Sunday after hearing a witness break down the entire incident for them.
That witness said the two men repeatedly kicked, punched and stomped on Angel Reyes-Godoy on the day of his tragic death.
The alleged killing happened last Monday along Bainbridge Avenue near 194th Street. Today, 18-year-old Obeb Adames faces charges of attempted robbery and assault, while 20-year-old Mario Almonte faces attempted robbery and murder charges.
The new witness testimony states that the two alleged Trinitarios members reportedly beat Reyes-Godoy. One of them held the 17-year-old down while the other searched his pockets.
Then, a witness says, the older of the two men pushed Reyes-Godoy into oncoming traffic.
That same push ended in Reyes-Godoy being run over by the ambulette and later dying from his head injuries.
Police say they are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
