Roxbury family puts on Christmas display for charity

A Morris County family went over the top with Christmas decorations to raise money to cancer research.
The Katz family holds an annual Christmas light show at their house, with families from all over Roxbury visiting the display.
The family uses the display as a vehicle to raise money for local causes. This year, the family donated the proceeds to a Roxbury police who has cancer.
Over 40,000 lights cover Robert Katz's Parkview home in Roxbury. His wife, Melissa, and two children worked for days to create the display.
Roxbury police officer Tommy DeNicola, who is fighting a 9/11-related cancer, will be the recipient of the donations. The Marine veteran says he was initially hesitant to receive the donations, but is grateful for the generosity.
A special mailbox was placed outside of the Katz's home for donations.
DeNicola says he plans to donate the money from the display to cancer research.
The Katz family raised several thousand dollars for a fourth-grader battling cancer last year.
