The Bronx is getting into the holiday spirit early with some light snowfall across the borough.

The Office of Emergency Management is issuing a travel advisory for the evening commute. A wintry snow, rain mix could continue through 6 p.m.

OEM issued some tips for those who are planning on being on the roads during rush hour.

The agency says to drive slowly, stating cars take longer to stop when the pavement is wet. To avoid skidding, OEM officials say to ease your foot off the gas and steer in the direction you want your car to go until your car cooperates and don't pump the brakes.
