Police in Brooklyn released a video overnight of a man they are looking for in connection to a violent robbery that happened Friday night on the subway.
Police say a 48-year-old man fell asleep on the D train and was awoken to the suspect rummaging through his bag.
When he confronted the suspect, he was hit with a sharp object, leaving him with several cuts.
The suspect made off with the victim’s cellphone.
The suspect is described as a man between 30 to 50 years old, last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue sweatpants.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
