Firefighters: 2 young girls killed in Bushwick fire

Two children have died after a fire gutted the second floor of a three-story building in Bushwick late Saturday night.
The FDNY says that the fire broke out around 11 p.m. at 165 Schaeffer St. They say it took 25 FDNY units under an hour to get the fire under control.
Firefighters say two girls were rushed to the hospital, but did not survive. Police have identified the victims as 9-year-old Haley Harris and 7-year-old Payton Gomez.
The children's grandfather and three other people were also injured, but are expected to be OK.
The medical examiner has yet to determine the exact cause of death.
