Students at the University of Bridgeport have a new way to “fly” around campus.
The school just got 75 electric scooters. It costs $1 to rent the dockless electric bikes, with an additional 20 cents a minute after that.
Simply download the Bird bike app, scan the code into the bike and it will automatically unlock.
Riders must be 18, have a driver’s license and a form of payment.
Bird also provides free helmets.
News 12 Connecticut's John Craven took a ride on one of the scooters.
