Voters approve 2 ballot questions

Voters in Connecticut approved two ballot questions Tuesday.
Ballot question No. 1 will establish what is called a transportation lock box. The state already has a special transportation fund but in the past, the state has dipped into it to deal with other budget deficits.
Ballot question No. 2  requires a public hearing before the General Assembly sells any state-owned land. The amendment will also require a two-thirds vote from both chambers to dispose of Department of Agriculture land, like state parks.
