Candidates hit the campaign trail Sunday to garner support days before Election Day Tuesday.
Democrats are hoping to inspire a blue wave, while Republicans are looking to maintain control of Congress.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo and other Democrats stumped for votes inside a packed IBEW 25 Hall in Hauppauge Sunday.
Nassau Democratic Chair Jay Jacobs says he is seeing a lot of anti-Trump pushback, and more and more average everyday people who want to see change.
“Republicans who have sided with Donald Trump and sided with that agenda of meanness and nastiness, they're going to have some troubles…they're going to have a battle like they've never had,” he says.

The majority in the New York state Senate hangs in the balance, as well as two heated Congressional elections, all of which will be decided on Nov 6.
The House race between newcomer Liuba Gretchen Shirley and 25-year incumbent Peter King is expected to be one to watch.
In Seaford, King held a breakfast event, one of the many appearances he'll make over the next two days.

Republican candidate for governor Marc Molinaro is expected to campaign on Long Island Monday.
