Police: Truck crashes in woods off I-95 in Fairfield

A truck lost control and crashed into the woods off  I-95 in Fairfield early Monday, police say.

State troopers say the truck crashed near Exit 24 in the northbound lane around 2:12 a.m.

Officials say the truck's driver, Keron Toby, 32, of Wallingford, New Jersey, lost control of the truck and crashed down an embankment into trees off the right side of the interstate.  

Toby, who drives for J B Hunt Transportation, was not injured during the incident, police say.

He was issued a ticket for speeding in hazardous conditions.
