There's a call for former State Senate Majority leader Dean Skelos to be given a stiffer prison sentence the second time around.
Prosecutors argued in court papers Friday that Skelos deserves more than the five years he got after his 2015 conviction.
They say he lied during his re-trial testimony.
Skelos' first conviction and sentence for extortion, wire fraud and bribery was overturned on appeal.
He was convicted during his re-trial in July.
Sentencing for the 70-year-old and his son, Adam, is set for next week.
