An East Brunswick school reached a milestone Friday with a 50th anniversary celebration.

The Warnsdofer Elementary School building was dedicated in 1968.

The 50th anniversary party featured a DJ, food trucks, games and even a dunk tank.

The party coincided with this year's school theme of “Future Ready at 50 - Learning through the Decades.”

School officials said that students and staff were celebrating the past throughout the year, and also highlighting the future that is to come.
