Residents have raised concerns over the busy intersection of McClellan Street and Morris Avenue after a boy was struck by a car there on Wednesday.
Surveillance video captured the incident, which occurred after the child left Mott Playground.
There is a stop sign on McClellan Street, but residents say it's not enough, and that adding another stop sign on Morris Avenue wouldn't change anything. Some suggest the addition of a crossing guard or a traffic light.
There were two crash-related injuries at the intersection in the past two years, according to the city's Vision Zero website.
News 12 did not immediately hear back from the Department of Transportation for comment.
