Hurricane Maria victims discuss recovery process

This week marks the one-year anniversary since Hurricane Maria, and the victims are still feeling the effects.
Carlos Rodriguez says he is still dealing with the aftermath and is missing family who were forced to move away.
Bridgeport native Johnny Sola had to make the difficult decision to leave Rodriguez and other loved ones behind.
Sola is a disabled U.S. veteran and his mother has Alzheimer’s, which led him to decide to leave Puerto Rico.
Solas says once in Bridgeport, he struggled to find housing and care for his mother.
He also says he will not be returning to Puerto Rico any time soon because the health of his mother is most important.
