Formerly incarcerated Bronx residents got a chance Thursday to see what resources are available to get them back on their feet.
The Re-Entry Resource Fair was put on by the Bronx District Attorney's Office, which teams up with the Empower Assist and Care Network and state parole to form the Bronx Re-Entry Task Force.
Thursday's event was the first fair put on by the task force.
More than two dozen tables were set up, providing health care information, college opportunities and job options.
The event was called a criminal reform measure and a push to prevent crime.
More re-entry fairs are planned for the future.
