Bridgeport police are looking for a person who left the scene of a deadly motorcycle accident.
Officials say Edilberto "Mo" Delgado, 46, died after a collision with a car in Bridgeport Sunday night at the intersection of Mountain Grove Street and Fairfield Avenue.
Delgado skid, hit the car and was thrown from the bike, according to police.
Officials say the car fled the scene after hitting the motorcycle. Police are still investigating who was at fault.
According to police, the vehicle was a dark gray or black Nissan Maxima. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bridgeport police.
There is a stop sign on Mountain Grove Street, but none on Fairfield Avenue. Police are looking into if that played a role in the collision.
Loved ones left signs and candles at the intersection where the incident occurred. They pleaded for the driver involved to come forward.
