Bridgeport pedestrian struck in hit-and-run

A hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian near the P.T. Barnum housing complex in Bridgeport Monday night, police say.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wordin Avenue and Bird Street, and the victim is expected to survive, according to authorities.
Police are looking for a tan or gray sedan with tinted windows and front end damage. They say both visors were down at the time of the collision.
