New Jersey staple drive-in to close, be replaced with Wawa

A New Jersey staple in Augusta will be closing down after 15 years and be replaced with a Wawa.
The Chatterbox Drive-In on Route 15 looks like something from the 50s or 60s, and it’s especially popular on their Thursday Bike Nights.
The restaurant hosted a veterans outreach program Thursday night.
“We do this every year,” says Frank Arminio, Chapter 327 Vietnam Veterans President. “This is going to be the last year here at the Chatterbox because they're going to be closing down some time, early part of September and a Wawa will be put in its place.”
The event informs veterans on services provided by the Veterans Administration, Sussex County agencies and other local service organizations.
The Chatterbox is expected to remain open for the next several months.
