Suspects accused of stealing food stamps from disabled patients to be arraigned

Suspects accused of stealing food stamps from mentally disabled patients are expected to be arraigned today.
As News 12 has reported, in June about 12 people were accused of stealing from patients at Brentwood’s Sunken Meadow Residence.
Five of the people arrested were current or former employees of the agency running the facility.
Investigators say the suspects went on shopping sprees using the stolen food stamps to buy crab legs, steak and spare ribs.
