Downed tree on LIE cleared after causing traffic issues

A downed tree caused some headaches for drivers on the Long Island Expressway this afternoon.
The large tree fell onto the expressway in the Jericho area.
The center and right eastbound lanes between exit 40E, which is Jericho Turnpike, and exit 41S, which is 106/107, were closed while crews cleared the tree.
Chopper 12 was over the scene.
No one was hurt. Traffic is now back to normal.
