A boat washed ashore Friday near Point Lookout and Lido Beach.

It happened by the Malibu Shore Club.

"It seemed like there was a boat in the middle of the water coming close to the shoreline and then all of a sudden it drifted onto the sand. It was getting twisted and turning and there way no way for them to get back out into the surf," says witness Barbara Shannon.

Some people tried pushing the boat back out to the water.

The boat was pulled back out into the water by a tugboat.

There were no injuries.
