Police: Man, 2 bystanders shot in apparent dispute at Fulton Mall

Chaos erupted in the Fulton Mall Friday afternoon when shots rang out among a group of people.
Officials say they’re searching for a male shooter who injured three people, including two innocent bystanders. They say the incident began with a group of five people arguing with a 28-year-old man. One of the men in the group opened fire, striking the man, hitting a 31-year-old in the thigh and grazing a 27-year-old woman.
The three victims were rushed to Methodist Hospital and are all expected to make a full recovery.
Officials say that while it is unclear who amongst the group opened fire, surveillance images and several eyewitnesses may be able to narrow down the search.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing red shorts and a white hat. They’re asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
