New mural remembers teen slain in Belmont

A new community mural is being made in remembrance of Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz, the 15-year-old who was viciously stabbed to death in Belmont.
He belonged to the NYPD Explorers program, as the mural depicts.
The mural is not located at the place where Guzman-Feliz was stabbed, but is just outside St. Barnabas Hospital. That’s where he ran to seek help but collapsed and died right on the street. It's being painted on the corner pharmacy in front of the hospital on East 183rd Street.
Another mural is located right outside the bodega where Guzman-Feliz was attacked. It's lined with candles and pictures.
