Police have identified the suspect they believe fatally stabbed a 73-year-old man in his Mott Haven apartment.

The suspect is Idris Abdul-Muhaymin, the nephew of Owen Dillard, who was found dead with stab wounds to his neck on June 11, according to police.

Dillard had reportedly just won the lottery and was generous with his winnings. Police have not confirmed whether that was a motive for the killing.

Dillard was kind and well-liked, according to neighbors and family members.
