Suspect in knockout attack surrenders to police

Police say the man responsible for knocking a man unconscious has turned himself in.
Luis Rivera is facing assault charges in connection with the incident last week. He was walked out of the 46th Precinct on Thursday.
Investigators say Rivera and another man attacked the victim, identified by family as 37-year-old Fernando Levano, on Aqueduct Avenue. After he was knocked out, police say people came over and robbed him.
Levano was punched in the head and left in the middle of the street. Investigators say he is hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
