The jury in the Mangano federal corruption trial sent the judge a note saying it is deadlocked.
The judge has issued an Allen charge to the jury, requiring them to go back in the jury room and continue to deliberate.
The note was sent during the eighth day of jury deliberations and the 12th week of the trial.
On Thursday, jurors found former Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto not guilty of all charges -- more than two dozen altogether.
The makeup of the jury has since changed after the judge dismissed Juror No. 5 Tuesday and replaced that juror with an alternate.
