John Donnadio, executive director of NJ Association of Counties, has been fighting a long-term battle to actually receive the funds that have been diverted from 911 call centers. Plus, his organization is hoping to restore the 2 percent cap on binding interest arbitration awards. 
A coalition of organizations filed a lawsuit against the state of New Jersey last week, calling on it to desegregate schools in the state. Bishop John Schol, of the United Methodists Church of Greater New Jersey, is a plaintiff in that lawsuit and represents the NJ Coalition for Diverse and Inclusive Schools.
