The Lavelle School for the Blind held its third annual spring recital, and this year’s theme was love and talent coming together.
All of the students at Lavelle are either blind, visually impaired or disabled.
Administrators say being on stage in front of family and friends helps students boost their self-confidence.
Diane Tucker who works at the school said, “We’ve had singing, we’ve had dancing, we’ve had choreography, we’ve had a fashion show, we’ve had some staff participate in a fashion show, and we’ve even had an Indian portion where they showed original Indian garments.”
