Fuhgeddaboudit Food: Hudson Jane

A Brooklyn restaurant serves its bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches between two hash browns instead of bread.
The delectable breakfast sandwich can be found at Hudson Jane sandwich shop at 360 Myrtle Ave.
The Fort Greene shop has trademarked its signature sandwich, the "Double Brown," which is a play on words and spoof of the Kentucky Fried Chicken sandwich "Double Down," co-owner Jen Laporta says.
The sandwich is constructed by placing two hash browns side by side then adding bacon, lettuce, tomato and an egg on top before closing the sandwich.
Executive Chef Megan Johnson says the egg is always cooked sunny side up, which adds a runny yolk to the sandwich.
"The hash browns create that really delicious crunch and then they'll soak up the sauce from you know the aioli and the egg, it's great," Johnson says.
