Police: 2 arrested in connection with fatal hit-and-run

Police say two people are facing charges Tuesday in connection with a hit-and-run last month in Jersey City.
They say a woman was hit at Boyd and West Side avenues and later treated at the hospital in March.
According to authorities, Julius Smith is accused of being behind the wheel and driving off. They say his passenger, Shakira Stuckey, was also arrested.
Stuckey has been charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution by way of concealment or destruction of evidence and tampering with physical evidence.
Investigators say there was damage on Smith's Jeep that was recently repaired.
