A Bridgeport man who saved a 77-year-old woman's life finally met her family Saturday.

Dennis Shaw rushed to the aid of Marjorie Meketa as she was being stabbed in 2011.

Meketa died last year. Now Shaw is trying to help her family, who became homeless following the attack.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal said he is also working to help the family find housing.
