Bronx art professor designs painting for Facebook headquarters

A college art professor from the Bronx was selected to design a painting for Facebook headquarters in Manhattan.
Dannielle Tegeder recently finished the three-month long project.
The Lehman College art professor was one of 20 artists selected to participate in Facebook's artist-in-residence program.
Tegeder created a mural for the lobby of the Facebook headquarters in Manhattan on Park Avenue South.
The piece, known as "Center of Machine-Life Transmissions," includes a collection of abstract shapes and narrow colorful lines.
Facebook first launched a program to work with local artists in 2012 starting with its California office.
