A New Jersey high school student's hard work has rewarded her with acceptances to all eight Ivy League schools.
High Technical High School student Anna Rezk was offered full-ride scholarships to each of them.
Rezk says she applied to 20 different schools, adding the Ivies despite thinking she would not get in.
But her academic resume speaks for itself, boasting a 5.63 GPA and a 1570 score on her SATs.
When Rezk was 13 she lost her father to pancreatic cancer, a story that she told on her admissions essays.
"I guess being in a hospital atmosphere kind of made me realize I wanted to be a caregiver, and I think he helped me formulate my own dream of becoming a physician." Rezk says.
Rezk's mother Marvat Andrawes says that while she tended to her ailing husband, Anna was described as "mother junior" because she took care of her brothers.
Now she has to make the big choice of where she is going to go to college. She says she is likely to choose between Princeton and Brown.
