A Brooklyn doughnut shop is creating some unique confectionery flavors.

Simply called Dough, the Bed-Stuy doughnut shop has been open since 2010 and is known for its untraditional flavors.

Popular doughnuts include the hibiscus doughnut, dulce de leche and passionfruit.

They also offer salted chocolate Nutella or blood orange flavored doughnuts.

Owner Fany Gerson says the name for the business comes straight from the ingredients.

"It's all about the dough. I wanted to make a doughnut that could stand on its own. A naked doughnut that customers would really enjoy even if it had no toppings, no filling or anything," Gerson says.

She says all the doughnuts are made fresh on site every day.
