Hudson Valley Restaurant Week kicked off this week with more than 100 participating restaurants.
Westchester leaders kicked off the two weeklong event with a sampling of gourmet Italian cuisine at L'inizio in Ardsley.
Diners can expect to pay $23 for lunch and $33 for dinner at participating restaurants.
Culinary Arts students from Westchester Community College tell News 12 that the event provides for experiential learning.
“It will help my career by being exposed to these events and seeing how they work,” said student Tiffany Guerrero. “I've never been in a restaurant kitchen, so it's nice just to see it firsthand.”
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is taking place through March 25.
