Gov. Dannel Malloy slammed President Donald Trump's proposal to arm teachers.

The governor was joined by education leaders as he rejected the plan.

He called the plan to arm teachers ludicrous and dangerous.

Gov. Malloy instead wants to refocus the strategy of keeping schools safe to common sense gun laws and other plans he says will work.
