A mentoring program in the Bronx is providing support for teens.

Young Life creates a safe space for teens to hang out, have fun and play games.

The group is a faith based program and religion is often a topic that comes up during their meetings.

However, organizers say teens do not necessarily have to be spiritual to participate.

Director Carolyn Harrison says members can rely solely on the friendship that the group offers.

"You can rely on our friendship as long as you welcome us," Harrison says.

The group gathers inside of a property near the Fordham Manor Church in Kingsbridge.
