A man was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Bronx Thursday, police say.
Troy Williams, 50, of New York  was struck and killed by the hit-and-run driver, according to officials. 
The incident happened at Undercliff and Sedgwick avenues around 12:40 a.m.
Police say Williams was exiting his car when he was struck by the driver.
The driver of the car who hit Williams took off, according to police.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
The intersection was temporarily closed for several hours after the incident but has since opened.
