The MTA announced it will begin repairing eight subways that need work around the city including two in the Bronx.
The $213 million plan was approved Thursday and would call for the funds to be allocated for the eight stations.
The plan includes repairing the 167th Street train station and the 174th-175th streets station.
MTA board members who voted in favor of the plan say the stations are in dire need of repairs and if nothing is done soon, it could create a dangerous situation for commuters.
The MTA did not say when the repairs would begin.
