Police: Man shot during attempted robbery in the Bronx

A man was shot during an attempted robbery Thursday in the Bronx, police say.
The incident happened near Seneca and Hunts Point avenues around 3 a.m.
Police say the suspect approached a 22-year-old man, told him he was going to rob him and pulled out a silver-colored pistol.
The 22-year-old man ran away, and the suspect shot him in the thigh, according to police.
He was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
